Beschreibung
Unter der Bezeichnung Porsche 901 wurde im September 1963 auf der IAA in Frankfurt der lange erwartete Nachfolger für den ersten Seriensportwagen der Marke aus Zuffenhausen, den Porsche 356, vorgestellt. Da dreistellige Zifferbezeichnungen mit einer Null in der Mitte bereits von Peugeot geschützt waren und somit Einspruch gegen die Bezeichnung ''901'' erhoben wurde, entschied man sich bei Porsche kurzerhand den Wagen unter der Bezeichnung 911 auf den Markt zu bringen. Eine Modellbezeichnung, die schon sehr bald eine magische Wirkung auf die Motorwelt und alle Sportwagenenthusiasten ausüben sollte. Maßstab 1:18, detailgetreues Modell
