Beschreibung
Das Unternehmen SAME (Società Accomandita Motori Endotermici) wurde im Jahre 1942 von den Brüdern Francesco und Eugenio Cassani in Treviglio in Nord-Italien gegründet. Heute ist SAME ein Teil der SDF-Gruppe, zu der auch die bekannten Marken Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Hürlimann und Grégoire gehören. Mitte der sechziger Jahre, im Juli 1965 präsentierte SAME den Same Dinosauro V8, ein wahrhaftig schwergewichtiger Hochleistungstraktor ausgestattet mit einem knapp 10 Liter großen und 160 PS starkem V8-Zylinder-Motor. Laut unbestätigter Aussagen wurden vom Dinosauro V8 lediglich 10 Exemplare hergestellt.
